A Greeting From the President

I would like to greet each of you with a big Cead Mile Failte, One Hundred thousand welcomes to the Irish Cultural Centre’s, Boston Irish Beer Festival on October 19. It is an exciting time as we continue to grow and adapt, remaining always, motivated and responsive to our core mission to promote and organize Irish cultural, educational, sporting and social events where current and future generations can participate in activities that promote Irish culture and heritage. Many will recall our first festival held at Stonehill College, more than a quarter century ago and we are proud to say our festivals are now held at our own 46 acre campus in Canton, Massachusetts. The activities during festival will create a sense of this region’s rich Irish roots. It features many of the finest musicians, singers, dancers, writers, and cultural advocates you’re likely to see in one setting. Needless to say we have a many events for the entertainment of our very young generation. The Festival has numerous vendors selling authentic Irish products, food and beverages, and activities for children and families. The 46-acre campus also provides free parking and has handicapped accessible facilities.

Seamus Mulligan,

President of the ICCNE
